Most documentaries are boring, but this one is not. This is the amazing documentary about two Spanish explorers who are plunged into the jungles of Congo to document gorilas in their natural habitat. They are met with many obstacles including leopards, poisonous snakes, and natives with lots of guns. However, they manage to get out of it alive and return home to tell their story. It's a great film for anyone who loves animals or fascinating tales about survival. Just keep in mind that it's not appropriate for children under 13 years old due to violence and some sexual content. Also the disc includes a 10 minute behind the scenes, which is actually quite entertaining. The film also shows the passion and dedication that both Spanish explorers have to their work and their country, shown when Sanz and Dauder salute the Spanish flag when they return home. All in all, Gorilas en la niebla is a beautiful looking film with its use of lush African landscapes and beautiful actors.
